Shuffle Master is included in the S&P Smallcap 600 Index. Compliance Manager - Las Vegas Full-time position available. In this exciting and rewarding position you will manage the overall operations of the Regulatory/Licensing Compliance and Technical Compliance Departments on a daily basis. Those without casino gaming experience need not apply. Key responsibilities (Regulatory/Licensing Compliance): Oversee the Regulatory/Licensing Compliance Supervisor and the day-to-day operation of the Regulatory/Licensing Compliance Department, including the following: Filing of corporate and key executive gaming license applications. Filing of employee gaming license applications. Corporate and/or personal license investigation. Filing of periodic regulatory gaming reports. Key responsibilities (Technical Compliance): Oversee the Technical Compliance Supervisor and the day-to-day operation of the Technical Compliance Department, including the following: Gaming product laboratory submissions. Product shipment notifications. Technical Compliance's functions within the sales order process. Filing of periodic regulatory gaming reports. Key responsibilities (Regulatory/Licensing Compliance and Technical Compliance): Provide guidance and oversight on compliance violation reporting. Provide guidance and oversight on compliance policies/procedures. Provide guidance and oversight on special projects. Provide guidance and oversight on databases and resource documents. Assist Executive Director of Compliance on an 'as needed' basis. In the absence of the Executive Director of Compliance, fulfill his/her specified duties. Perform other assignments (or duties) as required. Minimum skills and abilities: Possess exemplary management and organizational skills. Possess exemplary oral and written communication skills. Ability to identify and effectively utilize resources. Ability to conduct research of laws and regulations. Ability to monitor and meet departmental deadlines and ensure accuracy while managing multiple projects. Ability to work independently. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and travel.
Required certifications, licenses, education and experience: Must be able to obtain a gaming license. College degree. 5+ years experience in the gaming compliance industry, preferred. 5+ years of management experience, preferred.
