Responsible for assisting in design proposals or amendments by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials pertinent to specific items of facility/utility equipment or sub-systems relative to Major Maintenance Repair Projects (MMRP) or special projects.
Develop or assist in the development of programmatic cost estimates.
Attend pre-conference, coordination and informational meetings to consult witH Contractors and Architect & Engineering (A&E) firms.
Develop key milestones and schedules.
Directly responsible for the development and coordination of the following programs: (1) Staff initiation to Customer Relations Program via Command Orientation, (2) Customer Relations Training for department representatives, and (3) Staff and beneficiary customer satisfaction survey program.
Works closely with Department Heads to identify personnel to serve as Department Customer Relations Representatives and provides training and guidance in performing their duties as first line response to customer issues.
Must possess a professional knowledge of customer relations programs and customer conflict resolution techniques to affect a strong and viable Customer Relations program.
Must possess knowledge of the principles of customer relations programs and have strong communication skills for an effective Customer Relations training program.
Must possess knowledge of adult education and training techniques, cultural knowledge and demonstrated ability in the area of customer relations.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information to professional staff, ancillary staff and customers with a wide variety of backgrounds.
Must possess knowledge of the Navy Health Care System, the unique military environment and the relationship between military commands.
Skills in the use of personal computers including a variety of software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
