Manages the relationship between team members assigned to client projects as well as the relationship with clients. Communicates tax credit opportunities to clients and prospects.
Complete client reviews including market trends to ensure all opportunities are investigated, maximizing the client's savings.
Lead and mentor team members to develop skills necessary for them to serve their clients and help promote a solid career path.
Provide business development support and expertise to drive existing services, prospect for new business and integrate subject matter experts as needed.
Prepare client information requests and review information requests prepared by team.
Motivate and prepare others to accept new ideas, practices and to achieve goals.
Participate in the billing and collection process.
Pursues and promotes total client satisfaction by proactively establishing a sound business relationship between the client and ADP.
Acts as a liaison between the client and ADP as an internal client advocate. Positions themselves with the client's key members and decision makers to better understand the client's short and long-term tax credit opportunity goals to meet and exceed the client's needs and expectations.
Keeps up-to-date and proficient in all new service offerings, as well as existing services. Remains informed and knowledgeable of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client needs and projects.
Strong research skills. Performs review of more complex tax credit work prior to delivery of work product to client.
Assist in negotiation and/or administration of economic development incentive packages. Assist in client contract negotiations.
Attend key industry trade shows and associated events.
Travel is required, up to 25%.
Experience, Skills, Academic:
Deep knowledge of corporate business structures/operations and Tax/Financial concepts.
6 to 12 years of corporate federal and/or state income tax experience.
Tax credit and incentive experience a plus.
Strong background in Client Relationship Management, Consulting, and/or Sales/Business Development.
Advanced degree, CPA, Big 4 Consulting, and/or Fortune 1000 Tax experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software tools, CCH, RIA and Internet navigation.
