Lab Assistant I at Swedish/Edmonds in Edmonds, Washington.
The Lab Assistant I is responsible for interacting positively with
the public, physicians, and patients while performing procedures for specimen collection including patient identification, patient preparation and verification of specimens.
In this position you will:
Collect specimens and completes required documentation and verification of patient information
Assist with the orientation of new employees
Monitor and restock collection supplies
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved phlebotomy program (ASCP, NAACLS)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior phlebotomy experience
