This group's Build and Release Team is in need of a TFS Administrator. The TFS administrator will be the Build and Release Teams single point of contact for all issues related to TFS 2010; as well as other development, build and release tools.
Some responsibilities are:
Manage the configuration and security for TFS projects.
Customize TFS work item templates to meet project needs.
Install and configure servers to host TFS application servers, build controllers, and build agents.
Monitor critical tools for performance and operational issues.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of TFS and some experience with TFS 2010.
Administrative expertise of Team Foundation Server (TFS 2010 preferred.)
Experience defining and documenting TFS server configuration.
Experience in creating and supporting custom reports.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge in various branching/merging methodologies and release procedures .
Exposure to administration of Internet Information Systems (IIS) Web Servers, application servers.
Experience creating, customizing, and scheduling multiple build definitions for multiple teams.
Experience architecting and implementing build controller and agent strategies. Experience branching and merging shared source code for multiple concurrent development projects.
