ivated, positive, proactive individual to fill our Payroll Assistant position. The Payroll Assistant will serve as an integral part of our Accounting department.

Based in Sterling, VA with an office in Capitol Heights, MD, Reston Limousine serves the Washington, DC's transportation needs with the areas largest fleet of vehicles comprised of sedans, SUV's, vans, and all sizes of buses. RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility for this position will be to assist with the biweekly payroll processing for approximately 250 employees, including but not limited to:
Set up new employees and process terminations
Calculate and record changes to exemptions, benefits, etc.
Process data concerning transfers between departments and when applicable, teaming companies
Process payroll deductions and commission payments
Process pay/employee changes
Complete wage information for employment verifications
Assist with 401k plan updates
Assist with benefit plan open enrollments
Track employee payroll deductions
REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years of relevant experience
Portrays professionalism at all levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills; must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be able to multi-task to be successful in deadline/stress situations
Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment
Able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting (degree requirement can be met with appropriate work experience)
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel Outlook
Previous experience with Paychex is a plus
