Duties: Participate actively in the evaluation, analysis, design and implementation of new business, regulatory, risk management, and system re-engineering initiatives in Asset Servicing. This involves: Identifying the impact of business requirements on internal and external systems and procedures by understanding financial services operational processes and liaising with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements to meet user needs. Interacting with multiple levels of business, technology, finance, legal and compliance units to deliver an excellent product & co-ordinate global, cross functional working groups to coordinate business requirements. Serving as a primary subject matter expert for small business change system enhancements liaising with Operations and technology teams to drive regulatory, Firmwide and efficiency related enhancements. Present to key stakeholders, clients, and senior management on projects managed. Utilizing software tools to organize, maintain and communicate project plans and status. Employing change management tools such as root cause analysis & process improvement analysis to drive business process re-engineering. Manage full project lifecycle of global projects - including business analysis, risk management, technology design and development, test scenario design and execution, production rollout and training. Indirectly overseeing work of approx. 5 – 10 global working group members.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Finance, Engineering, Operations or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related Technical Project Management, Business Analyst or Asset Servicing Specialist position Prior work experience must include four (4) years: Driving discussions with multiple user groups including across different business units including traders, operations, controllers and technology to create business requirements specifications; Using Business Analysis & Process Improvement methodology to perform root cause analysis on core business problems and recommending and implementing solutions that increase Operational Efficiency; Running large scale user acceptance tests across multiple regions; Utilizing standard project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and standard business analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access; Utilizing knowledge of Broker / Dealer processing of key asset classes as such equities and fixed Income; Utilizing knowledge of Asset Servicing processes and events and Settlements and Stock Loan processes.
