Provides complex application solutions by identifying business requirements; researching potential solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; conducting analysis and design; writing data analysis documents; creating technical design documentation; and writing detailed checklists for change management and implementations. Demonstrates an in depth knowledge of all aspects of programming and analysis by incorporating design factors, hardware and software requirements, system facilities, platform technologies, formal development and testing methodologies and execution protocols into the software development lifecycle. Supports Information Systems Division applications by coordinating responses to user questions and problems; overseeing research of service level function; driving problem identification to root cause; coordinating resolutions, changes and improvements. Manages product installation upgrades by evaluating new application components; determining release schedules; and establishing installation timelines. Gathers requirements, develops materials and identifies recommendations. Participates in team projects by following our Information Systems Development Life Cycle (ISDLC) by creating and approving project plans; directing development of program specifications and programs; gathering requested information; writing, testing and debugging complex programs and scripts; implementing test scripts and procedures; testing and installing third-party software; and writing instructions and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, Business Administration or related quantitative field. The employer will accept a three-year undergraduate degree as meeting the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
