ThyssenKrupp Steel USA is currently seeking an Area Manager of Compensation, Benefits and Recruiting to join our Human Resources team. This position will be accountable for the following job duties: Establish and maintain compensation, benefit and reward programs, plans and measurements to ensure effective global compensation and benefit programs in line with TKS USA Mission, Vision and Values. Manage the performance management/talent management/succession planning process. Ensure strategic recruiting strategies are designed and carried out to maintain a diverse workforce Oversee AIDT process and auditing of applicant numbers. Conduct an annual benefits audit to verify that enrollment and deductions are correct for Team Members Manage the COBRA process for terminated Team Members Analyze different benefit plan models and make recommendations for enhancements/cost savings Design and maintain a comprehensive wellness program In the role of HIPAA Privacy Official, has the overall responsibility for company's adherence to all HIPAA rules and enforcement of the policy and program. Negotiate vendor contracts and renewals; ensures contract accuracy and takes responsibility for contract approval in behalf of the company. Assure the development and maintenance of valid plan documents, including required legal updates as necessary. Develop and oversee distribution of summary plan descriptions, brochures and other benefit communication materials to employees. Oversees the contract and benefit issues for international expat and technical assistant support roles Evaluates and analyzes the results of the programs and services regularly and systematically; including benefit loss and claims control, budgets and reports these results to senior management. Directly supervises employees in the Benefits and Compensation and Recruiting Departments. Performs special projects as assigned by VP, Human Resources. Writing and validation of job offers Analysis of internal compensation issues Preparation of compensation related reports Maintenance of HRIS systems and PERSIS (TK worldwide reporting system) Daily interaction with Team Members at all levels of the organization by addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with TKS USA Mission, Vision and Values. Daily communication with team to ensure service levels and KPI's are being met in recruitment, compensation and benefits
Qualified candidates for this role should possess the following skills, education and experience to be successful: Must have excellent analytical skills and possess significant knowledge related to Microsoft Excel, and SAP. Extensive recruiting experience with both exempt and non-exempt roles in all levels of an organization. Experience with future forecasting and hiring needs Ability to coordinate multiple processes and work with team members within the organization HIPAA compliance Minimum 10 years experience in hr/comp/benefits/recruiting. 5+ years at the Leader/Area Manager level Experience with vendor management and complex contract negotiations Recruiting/Lead Recruiting/Supervisor role. Significant SAP experience related to the PB/PA/PT modules. Exposure to Ceridian/ADP payroll products Minimum five years of managing self-funded medical plan administration, as well as all other benefit and retirement programs as required. B.S. Degree in Business Management (Finance/HR/Accounting) or equivalent experience. Master's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related Human Resources field is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people High level of proficiency in MS Office products focused on Excel/Word/PowerPoint In-depth SAP skills related to SAP HR/PR Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality Excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people Certified Compensation/Benefits Professional Certification is desirable. Experience with international compensation programs is highly desired.
