Dept/Division Information

This position will be located in the Financial Markets Group (FMG) division. FMG is one of the nations leading providers of annuity and life insurance products to banks, wirehouses, broker/dealers, and institutional clients. In Cedar Rapids, the FMG Annuity Products and Services unit supports FMG's distributor business units (Transamerica Capital, Inc., Transamerica Financial Institutions, Extraordinary Markets) by manufacturing, administering, and servicing annuity products issued by several AEGON USA operating companies.


Intern will be assigned large scale technology projects that have strategic impacts / value to the division. Candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic and tactical analyses of projects / initiatives that he/she is assigned, developing and presenting implementation plans and seeking / gaining stakeholder support.


Required Skills include:
  • Computer Science or MIS major, with business background
  • Good quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
The ideal candidate will be completing MBA classes.

Other Information

This internship is a paid position. The ideal candidate will be available summer 2011.

Note: We cannot employ students as interns who will graduate prior to the internship end date
