We are looking for outstanding candidates to help support the growth of our firm. We are seeking Lean practitioners to join our practice in North America. We are looking for Full Time Director level Consultants to work with our clients to identify inefficiencies and lead the organization towards prioritizing and resolving the key challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Managing Director and/or Director to identify project opportunities in logistics and develop the execution plan
Work with the execution team to implement the roll out of the execution plan
Ensure that the work provided is consistent with the firm?s domain expertise and beliefs and is delivered with high-impact, tangible results
Practical problem solving using Lean/TPS tools.
Coach applicable TPS tools for rapid improvement where needed such as Value Stream Improvement, TPM, 5S, Visual management, Leader Standard Work, Standardized work and work-load balancing, Andon system/ rapid response, etc.
Analyze processes and identify key challenges around inbound and outbound freight, reverse shipping, communications during transit, storage, warehousing, coordination among third-party carriers, fleet management and other activities directly related to the actual transportation of goods from one point to another.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in a successful lean company in a hands-on position with a mix of consulting and active leadership roles within that company
Extensive supply chain experience with a focus on logistics is required
Ability to develop and sustain Continuous Improvement through coaching of the lean values and principles in a Lean Daily Management system with accountability up and down the chain of command
Proven ability to use problem solving techniques
Lean Master Certification a plus
Education: Bachelor?s degree required
Must be willing to travel weekly to client site
