Brewer Science, a leading supplier of specialty coatings to the microelectronics industry is currently seeking a full-time Corporate/HR Paralegal to work at the Rolla, Missouri location.
Summary The Corporate/ HR Paralegal is responsible for the daily administration of the Law Department, which includes HR responsibilities. This role will also manage the contract process by ensuring executed agreements are returned, logging contracts, identifying key terms and filing contracts and other legal documents. This includes preparing, drafting and reviewing contracts, correspondence and other documents having legal significance such as certificates, subpoenas and documents to/from governmental administrative or regulatory offices, courts, law firms and the like.
Create, review, revise, maintain and administer contracts, as well as other legal documents, of varying scope and complexity, as well as implement related processes and procedures.
Draft and revise correspondence, review, log and summarize contracts and other documents having legal significance and review/update files.
Act as primary law department administration support, with focus on document management, filing and record keeping, and assist, as available, in HR Dept. administration.
Assist CLO in providing ongoing review of all contracts and other legal documents to monitor that all terms and conditions or other requirements are met.
Prepare contract or other legal document termination/nonrenewal letters.
Review and outline contracts and other legal documents for key provisions and non-standard terms or other contractual, regulatory, governmental or judicial obligations.
Credentials and Education
BA/BS Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent
2-3 years of relevant corporate or HR legal work experience preferred
Equivalent combination of education and related experience
Demonstrated understanding of contract and other legal documents legal concepts, efficient administration and automation of contract and other legal document processes
