Trade & Processing Specialist - Retirement

Job Description:
Work with branch office personnel, qualified plan product owners, technology group employees and outside fund companies to solve UBS Select Qualified Plans Held Away inquires, including: net new money, assets under management and system functionality issues. Work with internal colleagues, branch office personnel and outside parties on high level Retirement Operations risk items including: beneficiary disputes, unclear designations, retirement account set up issues, IRA private placement issues. Assist as a liaison between home office operations personnel, branch employees and in-house ERISA Counsel.

Additional Information / Duties:
Provide backup support related to reviewing and approving distributions from qualified plans, including 403(b)(7) and reviewing fair market valuations of Private Placements held in UBS IRAs.

Basic Qualifications:
3-5 year of experience with qualified plans, IRAs, Private Placements, IRA / QP Distribution approvals.

Candidate should have strong knowledge of IRA rules and regulations including journaling and retirement tax reporting rules.

Computer Skill: Excel, Word, Access

Interact with all levels of the organization, must be able to work independently, have excellent organizational, customer service and research skills and have the knowledge to communicate department positions that can be perceived as negative by the branch office employees in convincing manner. Ability to work additional hours as needed in order to meet SLAs.

Financial Experience a plus
