This person supports both third party vendor solutions and internal development utilized by the bank and operational departments. Additionally, this person is responsible for managing projects through the entire software development life and reports directly to the Programming Department Manager while working closely with other IT professionals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research support tickets. Create and maintain design, system and support documentation.
Write queries and create ad-hoc reports via Access, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2.
Perform the necessary research, analysis, and development associated with assignments.
Manage and participate in all phases of an assignment.
Maintain good communications and relationships with all assignment participants.
Responsible for completing assignments on-time and within budget while adhering to all department policies and procedures.
Support and integrate third party vendor solutions.
Become knowledgeable of the different company systems and applications utilizing reference materials and training within the department.
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent credentials such as certifications.
Minimum four years of work experience related to application development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with great attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task effectively and work with minimal direction.
Possess sharp analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to interact and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong knowledge and competency of application development and software development life cycle.
Strong knowledge and competency of SQL Server and .NET.
Must be available Monday through Friday with the ability to participate in a shift rotation of approximately one Saturday a month.
Minimal travel to branch network and/or training facility.
