The Ecommerce Merchandising Analyst is responsible for the day to day merchandising of the LIDS, LIDS Clubhouse and other websites with an emphasis on driving sales and conversion. The Ecommerce Merchandising Analyst would be expected to oversee multiple websites and will report directly to the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure new products are added to the websites in a timely fashion and that all search attributes, descriptions and product images are correct. Work with the Buying & Merchandising team to fix as necessary.
Review website search data and analytics to optimize site search.
Merchandise the product assortment of each website through navigation links and banners in an effort to drive conversion and maximize sales.
Work with the Marketing, Buying & Merchandising and Ecommerce teams to develop a marketing plan and promotional strategy for each website and assume responsibility for the execution of this plan. This includes but not limited to making sure site banners are created and loaded, e-mails are setup and sent and promotions are turned on and off at the correct times. In some cases coordination with Paid marketing and social media is required.
Site elements such as home page, category pages, landing pages etc. are kept fresh (2-4 weeks) and relevant to each market segment.
Provide direction to the Product Imaging team on the products that need to be pictured to meet our promotional needs and to keep websites updated with the latest product.
Work with the Buying & Merchandising team and Distribution Center to execute hot market opportunities. This includes setting up pre-orders, coordinating the receipt of product and order fulfillment.
Write copy for all banners, league pages and landing pages and with guidance from the SEM Manager to ensure all copy is search engine optimized.
Continually analyze sales across categories, departments, teams and styles. Provide high-level analysis of sales trends and insight into website performance compared to prior years. Create reports as needed to communicate these sales trends to the site owner and Lids management.
Work with the Customer Care Department and Distribution Center to help resolve customer service issues and questions related to products sold on our websites.
Assist in the moderation of product reviews and answer social media requests.
Assist the Buying & Merchandising team in fulfilling backorder product for LCYO.
Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs.
Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Communicate with employees at all levels of the company including Field Operations, Marketing and other departments.
Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years of Merchandising or Ecommerce experience.
Proven record of success with similar level of responsibility.
Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
Ability to communicate, analyze and prepare information via computer for up to 90% of the work time.
Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
