Cargill Texturizing Solutions is a leading supplier of gelling and thickening agents as well as emulsifiers, focusing on supplying the global food and beverage industries. Position Overview

Coordinate the maintenance activities of the Refinery areas while ensuring a safe workplace, food safe product, and environmentally sound facility. Create and execute process improvements that improve process reliability and decrease maintenance expenditures.

Principal Accountabilities

30% Work with the maintenance/operations groups to maximize equipment asset health. Drive the reliability improvement process. Utilize RCA and RCM.

30% Coordinate maintenance activities for the Refinery area. This includes PM review and editing, work order backlog evaluation, and support of the planning and scheduling process.

30% Process Management: Lead improvement projects 50K to facilitate equipment installation and process implementation.

10% Production Management: Fill in for department supervisors during vacations or long term absences.



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering OR a minimum of 5 years experience in Operations or Maintenance supervision.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent communication, organization, prioritization skills.


Demonstrated understanding of MRO stores management, precision maintenance techniques, predictive technologies (Vibration Analysis, Infrared Spec, Oil Analysis, Motor Circuit Analysis).

Analysis, machinery alignment procedures.

Root Cause Analysis facilitation and solution implementation.

Familiar with Cargill Safety Standards Familiar with solids conveying and handling.

Strong process analysis skills: utilizing control system data archive system, process quality database, and statistical analysis methods to identify failure modes/root causes.
