SEI currently works with over 6,000 independent Advisors throughout the U.S and has approximately $30B in assets under management. The SEI Advisor Network is the premier provider of Wealth platform solutions to independent Advisors focusing on private clients. Uniquely positioned, SEI also provides Advisors the benefit of our industry leading "Practice Management" services to assist them in the growth and management of their business.

Location and Travel:
The position will be based in the territory - most likely in Minneapolis or Wisconsin where the RD can drive to every part of the territory. Overnight travel may be around 50%.
The Advisor Network has an immediate opportunity for a strong sales and relationship management professional to serve as Regional Director ("RD") within the Upper Midwest region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota). The RD will be responsible for managing sales activities and existing strategic relationships to elevate strategic commitment and promote asset generation. It is estimated the RD will spend 40% of his/her time working with existing clients (30 firms with $1 billion of AUM) and 60% of his/her time recruiting new advisors.
Responsibilities for this position will include some or all of the following:

New Advisor prospecting and lead generation
Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective Advisors
Recruiting new Advisors to utilize SEI's Advisor Platform
Executing SEI's sales process to provide Advisory Outsourcing Solutions for Advisors
Building strong relationships with existing advisors and firms to retain and grow their SEI business
Assisting our advisors with complex sales proposal and client retention opportunities
Continually identifying our Advisors business and growth goals and assisting their success using SEI's business solution processes
Providing Practice Management advice to Advisors to grow and run their business
Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve Advisor Unit goals
Completing all CRM sales forecasting and administration activities
Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly
Achieving revenue and growth objectives
Developing and implementing an annual territory plan for growth in assigned territory
Participating in market unit initiatives and projects
Keeping abreast of industry standards and knowledge to be able to communicate with client
Interacting effectively with other SEI teams
Other duties as necessary

BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
A minimum of three (3) years successful sales experience within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of successively executing a conceptual sale and managing a consultative sales process
Proven, successful experience selling to and building relationships with senior management or business owners. This includes a demonstrated history of prospects/clients viewing you as a trusted business advisor
Proven ability to move relationships through a structured sales process to achieve commitment and mutual business success
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email - *cb*.
Education Required: Bachelors Degree
