Title: Lead Federal Compliance Auditor

Location: Arlington, VA (Rosslyn) location required

Position Description:
The Senior Federal Compliance Auditor works within the Federal Risk Management Organization, with particular emphasis on compliance with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Key Relationships:
Federal leadership, risk management leadership, financial services teams, and other key finance and operations personnel within the U.S. Firms.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain monitoring / audit protocols, adhering to guidelines established in the Defense Contract Audit Manual Act independently to devise work plans to accomplish assigned tasks and contribute to organizational goals Interact with Partners, Principals, Directors and Enabling Areas; including Finance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Pricing, Contracts, and Legal Distill results of assessments into priority risk areas Recommend remediation of compliance risks and/or deficiencies including training, processes, governance and system controls Support communications and reporting function as needed Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience required conducting audits of policies, processes and practices
  • Experience developing and implementing compliance and performance assessment protocols required
  • Experience with business process improvement activities, including recommending improvements to compliance deficiencies required
  • Bachelor degree required
Clearance (Standard): Selected Applicants will undergo a security / background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills:
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience working with or for DCAA and/or DCMA is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Federal Contractor operating requirements, particularly from the Federal Acquisition Regulation, is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a key to success in this role.
  • Candidate should have a proven track record of successful interaction with officials across the organization
