The hiring manger seeks a mid level Java developer for production support and enhancement of the AMS (Accumulator Management System). This position is NOT for development of a front end or web application.
Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming activities supporting AMS programs and processes for production problems and enhancements. The application and services are built on JAVA, Oracle RDBMS, LINUX, and SOA (TIBCO ActiveMatrix) infrastructure. The developer will analyzes, designs, implements and extends JAVA based and SOA based applications to solve business and technical problems, questions or processes. The AMS system uses Oracle RDBMS extensively. The developer must have Oracle and stored procedures/PL/SQL experience. The developer may work with business users to develop statements of problems and requirements. The developer tests develops and configures solutions and corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming standards, and controls. Must be able to work independently to complete tasks. The position will include on call support.
· 5+ years of Java design and development experience (Java, J2EE, JMS, JDBC)
· 3+ years of OraclePL/SQL and Oracle RDBMS
· SOA design, development, testing
· SOAP, XSD, WSDL, XML, XSL, XPath
· Unit testing (JUnit, JMock)
· Service interface testing (SOAPUI)
· Design documentation (UML)
· Experience in a continuous build environment (Ant/Maven, Hudson, Nexus)
· Able to work closely with operations group for deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance.
· Strong communication and problem solving skills

· Tibco ActiveMatrix or Tibco BW
Minimum Education BS - desired but not required
Minimum Certifications or Professional Credentials Desired but not required: Sun Certified Programmer for Java Platform
