The Opportunity:
This role is responsible for interpreting business requirements, leading the design and implementation of portfolio risk management credit policies into the risk management decision systems. The individual will be the primary liaison between Risk Management, Vendors, and IT ensure all appropriate inputs and outputs are delivered to/from the risk systems.

Interpretation of requirements, designing and implementing rules into the risk systems for a Credit Card portfolio.

Formally documenting system flows and maintaining change log for regulatory purposes.

Develop and implement appropriate controls to ensure defect free implementation of risk strategies including documentation, review and testing procedures.

Develop expertise in the core options and decision engine which deploys the Credit Card Risk strategies (TSYS & TRIAD).

Implement and monitor Risk strategies for the Credit Card portfolio.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or other quantitative discipline plus 2 year experience in the Financial Services Industry.

Ideal qualifications:
Masters in quantitative field 3-6 years’ experience in designing, testing and implementing credit policies in the TRIAD decision engine and PCTMS.

Strong technical skills along with prior experience with a risk management decision engine, TRIAD, PCTMS, SAS, SQL, MS Excel, MS Power Point and Visio.

Ability to convert business requirements into design flows that maximize the efficiency of the system

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and analytical information to a variety of interested parties at all levels.

Experience in documenting and creating detailed process controls to ensure error free implementations.

Awareness of FCRA, ECOA, Card Act and other relevant regulatory rules

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects

An ability to create strong detailed process

Critical thinking and problem solving skills
