Are you ready to be responsible for the total support of the corporate phone system? Do you have experience managing software support upgrades as well as purchasing and design decisions of new hardware? The Voice Engineer will evaluate, install, and troubleshoot enterprise-wide telecommunications infrastructure and voice service applications. This individual is also responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of voice policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of Tractor Supply voice systems.

Primary Duties:
Work with IT staff to develop Voice architectures, standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
Design and implement short and long term strategic plans to make certain voice capacity meets exisitng and future requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for voice administration and appropiate use.
Install, maintain and configure voice components to ensure consistency and integrity.
Respond to and resolve access and performance issues.
Monitor VOIP phones and related sytems
Design and implement redundant Voice policies and procedures for disaster recovery
Oversee the planning and coordination of voice technology with third parties
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for voice activities

Secondary Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Minimum 2 - 3 years experience engineering or supportintg a large-scale production voice network
Experience coordinating schedules and new installs with 3rd party vendors
Experience with Cisco Unified Messaging
Experience configuring VOIP trunks and VOIP gateways
Minimum 2-3 years experience supporting, maintaining and configuring CISCO Contact Center preferred
Experience with Voice protocols [Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) / Integrated Services Digital Network( ISDN)]

Essential Skills:
Knowledge of Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems, CISCO Contact Center and Unified Messaging.
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) or Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) preferred
Demonstrated ability to set up, install, troubleshoot and configure voice systems

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Individual in this position will encounter ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time; to reach over shoulder heights; crouch or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement; and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
