In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served by KKI, the CARD Research Coordinator II will work with CARD director and research staff to oversee the REACH research databases. The Research Coordinator II will oversee and participate in the data analysis for assigned projects. This staff member also will participate in conceptualizing data reduction and presentation strategies to summarize the research. The Research Coordinator II will supervise the data management and data entry staff. The Research Coordinator assists in the preparation of progress reports for the principal investigator, and assists in preparation for NIH reports and grants.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for the oversight and management of REACH databases.
Supervises the data management and data entry staff.
Prepares datasets, analytic reports, and assists with data analysis with REACH staff.
Manages ongoing research that supports research projects conducted in REACH.
Provides research support for CARD Faculty and Clinicians through assistance in the design, development, implementation, dissemination of research projects.
Coordinates with statisticians and senior staff in order to ensure appropriate statistical analysis of REACH research projects.
Assist with general manuscript/grant preparations by developing content for Methods and Results sections according to specified APA, AMA requirements. Create graphics and tables for use in such manuscript and grant submissions, as well as presentations.
Collaborates with the Data Manager in the hiring, orientation, and supervision of data entry staff, working on REACH research projects.
Responsible for maintenance of lab facilities and equipment, including making recommendations for acquisition of new or the upgrade of, existing equipment.

Qualifications :
MA/MS in health/social sciences related field including a research emphasis required.
Coursework in statistics and human subjects research.

Must have a minimum two years related experience.

Knowledge of STATA, SPSS, or SAS.
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
