Position performs duties within two administrative systems; University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the United States Army. Oversight responsibility for department budget. Manage the selection and awarding of foundation scholarships and awards. Coordinate awards ceremonies, working with dignitaries from UNL campus and State of Nebraska organizations. Manage the purchase, storage and distribution of office supplies. Provide support for staff and faculty with general administration and program instruction materials. Greet visitors and answer inquiries; maintain department website and manage Department Chair calendar.
H.S. diploma plus four years office/clerical experience required; equivalency considered. Must have experience with computer software. Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize work essential.
Associate's degree preferred.
