This position is on a rotating 12-hour per shift, 36 hour-per-week schedule. 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. For example, every other week, the employee would work Monday and Tuesday, be off Wednesday and Thursday, and work Friday and Saturday with Sunday at the company's discretion. The alternating week, the employee would work Wednesday and Thursday and be off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Because the pay period runs from Saturday through Friday, the pay periods work out to be 36 hours per week.

Summary Feeds precut corrugated blanks or sheets into machine that prints, scores, perforates, and slots them for forming into boxes, displays, or other items by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads precut blanks into automatic machine feeder, or positions stacks of paperboard sheets against guides on feed table and inserts each sheet into machine feed rollers.
Adjusts scoring, perforating, and slotting disks or knives in machine as directed by using wrench and tape measure.
Performs setups and hangs dies or assists in hanging dies using appropriate tools and resources.
Fills ink reservoirs with ink of specified color.
Off bears materials from machine and stack processed blanks or sheets for further processing.
Assist operator of machine equipped with gluing and folding attachment.
Sorts and selects materials and products and rejects defective materials, following specifications, instructions, and standards.
Inspects and measures materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
Identifies and marks materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
Records production and operational information and data on specified forms.
Modifies materials and products during manufacturing process to meet requirements.
Moves controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.
Strip die cuts.
Operates bandsaw that cuts or slots sheets of paperboard for box blanks or partitions
Reads work order for specifications of box blanks, partitions, or pads.
Stacks sheets of paperboard on work surface of bandsaw, squares edges of sheets, and fastens sheets together, using clamps.
Presses button to activate bandsaw, and pushes stacks of paperboard against blade, according to specifications for box blanks, partitions, or pads.
Places box blanks, partitions, or pads on pallets for further processing.
Bundle and unitize products and materials.
Cleans and maintains machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to correctly measure and correctly read a tape measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of RPM and PDE Manufacturing software.
