Capture, review and organize key Materials documents such as specification, engineering reports, engineering literature, process documents, etc.
Manage and improve indexing as well as revision system for OU Materials / SMUS
Develop global concept for specification and key Materials R&D documents control and help implement and manage systems
Work with SAP Team to implement the document management system to establish links for control through SAP
Work with Production on a process enabling that Engineering / R&D documents, such as specs, are tied into the production documents on the shop floor, so that revisions to the master documents automatically trigger change of all linked documents
Support vendor qualifications with regard to document control
Assist R&D engineers / project managers at SMUS with establishment of engineering reports, PowerPoint presentations, papers, and other documents
Support R&D labs in maintaining and creating ISO and NADCAP related documents and procedures
Handle administrative & office duties such as Purchasing of office and lab supplies; maintaining purchasing records

Your Profile

Minimum of 3 years experience with databases and/or document management systems
Computer knowledge: extensive knowledge of MS Project, Database; familiar w/SAP
Experience with quality control systems such as ISO
Management of and strong organizational skills within an office environment
Fluent in English, German language skills would be a plus
