To set up and maintain an inventory system for Career and Technical Education programs. To assist with data collection for reporting purposes. To prepare vendor requisitions. Maintain an inventory of department equipment and supplies. Provide efficient and courteous customer service to external and internal customers of the Career and Technical Education department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain an inventory of equipment system of all career education programs.
  • Tag all equipment that is received and add to the inventory data base.
  • Handle all transfers of equipment between rooms or other district buildings.
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies.
  • Maintain a good office supply inventory.
  • Assist in gathering and reviewing data for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the principal as needed.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide front-office customer service and support.

    • Associate Degree in a business related area (four (4) years of meaningful experience may be substituted for the degree requirement)
    • Three (3) years experience working in a computerized business environment.
    • Proficiency using personal computers and software including Word, Excel, Access in a windows environment.
    • 10-Key numerical proficiency.
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
