Windows Automation Expert
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is highly motivated, creative and innovative, and has a passion for software testing/development and can "make things happen". In this position you will be working with developers, validation engineers, and program managers, Microsoft stakeholders across org, across geos and ingredient teams. You will be responsible for developing automated tests using new solutions provided by Microsoft. In addition you will merge these solutions with existing Intel infrastructure across the PC Client. Your focus will be enabling Continuous Integration at a system level on Intel's most important project. We are looking for high quality individuals ready to join a winning and closely knit team!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deep software architecture and software development skills .NET
A willingness to keep your hands dirty in the code on a daily basis (you will be a developer, not a PowerPoint jockey)
Ability to present tradeoffs in implementation strategy and to defend proposed direction
Experience reviewing and designing solutions for complex engineering problems
Working knowledge of HCK, Visual Studio 2012, TFS, and MSFT tool chains is an added advantage
Helping improve SW engineering processes to increase product quality and team efficiency
Driver in cross-divisional and cross company forums (ODM/OEM, ISVs, Microsoft)
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, plus 8 or more years' experience
- 5+ years of software development experience - developing or validation of C/C++ and/or C# software in Windows
- 3+ years of program management skills in a product development environment.
- 5+ years of Windows OS application test and/or development experience, Good to have Android and iOS experience, Experience with Windows OS internals would be an added advantage
- Experience with agile software development practices
