The Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for: Acting as a resource and support for the Medical Staff in the implementation of the Medical Staff Quality Improvement Plan. Activities include supporting the Peer Review process and coordinating and assisting in the implementation of medical staff department and collaborative interdepartmental quality improvement projects. Assists in preparing meeting agenda and prepares presentation material for medical staff quality committees. Participates in other quality related committee work as appropriate. Maintains a database of medical staff quality improvement activity. Acts as a liaison between medical staff quality and hospital wide quality programs. Collaborates with Department Managers and Medical Staff on matters of Regulatory and Accreditation requirements. Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing or relevant experience. Prior quality improvement and computer experience necessary.
