Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Sector Headquarters, located in Moon Township, PA has an opening for a Manager of Financial Accounting. The primary function is to manage the financial accounting, reporting, planning & analysis function for North American Sales (NAS) and Global Marketing (GM) organizations.
Essential functions inlcude but are not limited to:
A. Serves as the accounting, reporting and planning focal point for the North American Sales and Global Marketing ledgers.
B. Coordinates all business level planning and reporting activities including monthly results, monthly rolling forecast, profit planning, strategic planning and operating review requirements.
C. Provides financial analysis, insight, interpretation, and communication to senior management of the North American Sales and Global Marketing organizations.
D. Develops and implements the SOX control environment for both North American Sales and Global Marketing organizations.
E. Serves as a liaison between North American Sales, Global Marketing and the Americas Region and Electrical Sector for region, sector and corporate requirements.
F. Drives continuous improvement in Eaton financial initiatives, identifying opportunities, and implementing solutions.
G. Translates knowledge into actionable strategy to ensure financial support for leadership initiatives while mitigating potential financial risk.
H. Manages a team of six direct reports. Develops personnel within the department. Develops a talent pipeline by managing a finance Leadership Development Program participant (FLDP) rotating through the Global Marketing organization, and a part-time college student position that serves as a pipeline into the FLDP program.
I. Operates independently and proactively provides management with relevant updates on day-to-day issues.
