The HRIS Manager is a key member of the HR management team and is accountable for managing the development, design, implementation and ongoing support of HR applications and business process solutions. Major responsibilities include: Key team member in implementing a Talent Management Solution to automate performance appraisals and goal management, succession planning, applicant tracking and new hire paperwork processes over a 2 year period. Accountable for all HR system applications Provide project planning expertise and leadership by effectively managing projects to schedule and within budget and coordinating resource requirements Recommend strategic opportunities to leverage HR systems Closely coordinate with Human Resources and IT to achieve HRIS requirements. Assist in the development of long-range and annual systems plans Assist in development of HR metrics and HR scorecard process to facilitate the communication of HR results to the organization's executive team Streamline business processes where possible Perform the HR systems liaison role with IT, HR functional areas and third party resources Effectively represent HRIS requirements to IT, and appropriately prioritize business requests Develop and maintain system and end user documentation to include functionality, procedures, processes, reports, information and workflows Provide application, reporting, query and other relevant HR software training to end users within HR and provide guidance as needed Assist in the development of training materials, reporting and analysis tools Ensure the integrity of data within HR systems. Periodically coordinate audits to ensure data is available to meet business requirements and to ensure data reliability Support on-going HR governmental, vendor, and business reporting requirements Perform a broad range of data analysis Communicate information to both mid- and senior-level management in a clear and concise manner Present results of analysis in an accurate, professional and informative manner Serve as Human Resources SOX liaison and maintain security access in HR systems including periodic security reviews Perform monthly employment verification reviews and oversee relationship with 3rd party vendor who performs the verification process Spot trends while producing HR scorecard reports and escalate findings to senior management Work independently to develop and present ad hoc reporting as requested by management Maintain HR system foundation tables and templates
