Responsible for all aspects of assigned non-technical projects. Projects may be focused on marketing, sales, finance/accounting, legal, business planning, business operations, customer service, or other non-technical subjects. Typically involves extensive interactions with cross-functional teams of various functional areas of the business.
The Service Delivery Manager ensures that the quality of service delivered meets business needs and performance targets and that any problems are resolved promptly. They will also make certain that the client remains satisfied in any changed circumstances that may occur in the customer organization, to be the right services, delivered to the right people, at the right time. Service Delivery Manager is on call 24x7 for high priority production related issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These functions include but are not limited to:
"Fix" Management and maintenance
Time and Delivery Management
Resource Management/Utility Engagement
Primary contact for Client and Client's customer
Work efforts which are "defined" as non-projects (X hrs and/or< X costs)
Manage work and change processes outside project management
Timeline all deliverables owned by Team
Manage Client Metrics
Manage Client SLA's
Identifies process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions
Performs other duties as required
Five (5) years of professional management level experience in the Banking industry.
A High School Degree is required.
SPECIAL MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have the ability to be at a computer/computer screen for extensive periods of time
Must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of team and clients.
Must have the ability to interact in a professional, cooperative manner with co-workers and clients in order to promote the values and growth of Fidelity Information Services.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision; must be proactive in style.
Must have excellent organization skills.
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, detail, accuracy and deadlines.
Must have the proven ability to handle and organize multiple tasks.
Must have the ability to travel as needed.
Must have expertise in Microsoft Word or a related software package; Excel experience is a plus.
Must be able to adapt to rapid change in the work environment.
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
