We are currently hiring an Assistant Director of Admissions for our Brooklyn campus. **This is a management training position with the opportunity to learn the Allen School business model. The training program can last between 90 - 180 days.**The Assistant Director of Admissions plays a vital and critical role within the Admissions operation. The primary responsibilities are to assist, support and execute the directives of the Director of Admissions specific to strategic and tactical business planning objectives. These objectives include hiring, training and developing the Admissions staff to successfully achieve and exceed the new student recruitment and completion goals of the Allen School. The Assistant Director of Admissions plays a unique positive role for the Admissions staff as the position focuses on achieving individual ADA and team recruitment goals. Critical job components for the Assistant Director of Admissions are as follows: Positive motivator; effective leader; communication; coaching; strong time management; organization; administrative; dedication; technology savvy are all essential to the position. Overall, being a positive role-model for the Admissions staff is the most important component as the position focuses on achieving individual and team goals. Expectations include: 90% enrollment production, 10% Management time, with times of 100% enrollment production based on management discretion. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnrollment Advisors specific performance expectations of the Assistant Director - 90% time focus. Mastery of administrative skill sets Mastery of Telephone and presentation script proficiency Mastery of student advisement skills Consistently achieves weekly, monthly and class performance goals and objectives Consistently comprehends thorough product knowledge Consistently achieves follow-up standards Consistently develops and attends all trainings Consistently adheres to all compliance standards Mastery of Technology and CRM sales management systems Consistently generates 2.0 personally developed inquires or higher per week with 1-3 PD starts each class Product Knowledge competencies, including length and content of all applicable programs Solid advisement skills in areas such as program selection, enrollment requirements, etc. Assistant Director of Admissions specific performance expectations - 10% time focus. Assist the Admissions Management Team in developing, directing and coordinating the Admissions Office activities in accomplishing its collective team goals and objectives In coordination with the Associate Director of Admissions, ensure that goals, objectives, plans, team production budgets, policies, procedures, and best practices produce the desired measurable outcomes consistent with the overall mission and strategic objectives of the School Under the close supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions, assist and ensure quality new hires are completed; That appropriate training and coaching of staff (new and veteran) executed through effective reporting analysis and for optimal performance is successfully completed on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; Effective hiring and training are key components of maintaining acceptable turnover of staff annually which is targeted at 25% team attrition Complete daily team huddles, individual progress reviews, evening check-outs, and the submission of team performance narrative reports to be submitted to the Associate Director of Admissions every Friday by the close of business that details the performance of the individual players and the team as a whole Be a positive role model persona for your team as well as the entire School; Display exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities; Exceed both your own enrollment production as well as management leadership and coaching skills Successfully build a positive, open-door, highly-effective communicative relationship with your team as well as the entire School Successfully complete a minimum of one (1) written interview observation on each team member per month to be submitted to and reviewed by the Associate Director of Admissions Complete Admissions second interviews as needed and directed by the Associate Director of AdmissionsTeam Assignment and ADA Compensation The Associate Director of Admissions will provide daily and monthly insight and feedback to all Assistant Directors of Admissions based on their performance and will continue to train and develop the Assistant Directors as an effective part of the Allen School Admissions Management Team. It is important to note again that it is critical and essential that all Assistant Directors continue to maintain their individual enrollment performance while coaching and developing their team to successfully achieve their objectives.
Must have at least 3 years experience as an Assistant Director of Admissions OR in an Admissions/Enrollment leadership role; WE ARE ALSO OPEN TO LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN GOAL-ORIENTED CUSTOMER SERVICE ROLES SUCH AS SELLING GYM MEMBERSHIPS, OTHER SALES EXPERIENCE, ETC.
