The Customer Service Professional (CSP) is responsible for processing and expediting financial services requests from policy owners, agents, third parties and internal business partners. The CSP processes the requests using administrative systems and procedure documentation with proficiency, while meeting quality and productivity expectations. The CSP provides excellent customer service through written correspondence and personal contact with customers.

Series 6 (as applicable) within 6 months of hire Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures. Remains current in profession and industry trends. Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: making suggestions for improvement learning new skills, procedures and processes. Performs other duties as required. Non-exempt position eligible for overtime if required.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma required. College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Technical Skills
Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Enter data into computer using software applications for data entry. Work and be proficient with email systems. Excellent telephone and writing skills. Strong understanding of systems/technology being utilized Language Skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to express complex concepts in an understandable way. Read and interpret documents such as life insurance policy information and procedures. Write routine reports and business correspondence.

Customer service experience preferred. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work and attention to detail without loss to productivity. Willingness to obtain LOMA Level 1 (completion of 280 / 281 and 290 / 291). Willingness to work towards LOMA Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation. Computer skills: Basic skills in MS Word and Outlook Enter data into computer using software applications for data entry and word processing. Work and be proficient with e-mail systems. Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements. Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.
