Audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and more than 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager.
The senior compliance analyst position will report to the Enterprise IT Compliance Manager. The role is focused on contract reviews to ensure compliance with healthcare regulation requirements and technical requirements for our customers and business partners. This position will also be tasked withrequire completing customer questionnaires, reviewing security addendums review and gathering implementation requirements technical and compliance reviewfor customers. The Enterprise Information Security Team (EIS) is looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a fast fast-paced environment, is detailed oriented and understands healthcare regulations.

Position requirements:
  • Experience with customer contract reviews (specifically regulatory and security commitment negotiations)
  • Working knowledge (between experienced and “deep”) of the following regulatory and industry standards:
o FISMA (CMS interpretation preferable)
o PCI DSS 2.x
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and successfully complete them in the designated timeline
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather product and service information
  • Skilled at translating technical concepts to business concepts for diverse audiences
  • Ability to identify risk and determine risk implication for our organization in terms of contract requirements
  • Ability to perform a technical and compliance review for contracts
  • Manage customer relationships during audit and RFP/RFI events
Required Minimum Experience:
  • 3 years reviewing customer security requirements3-5 years healthcare experience
  • Understanding of CMS requirements and HIPAA regulations
  • 2+ years experience in responding to RFP and RFI requests
  • 3-5 years healthcare experience
  • 3-5 years of technical audit administration (IT and regulatory focused)
  • 3-5 years experience working with various Information Security, Legal and HR organizations for the purposes of audit facilitation and support
  • 2+ years experience in responding to RFP and RFI requests
Preferred Skill Sets:
  • Strong project management experience and familiarity with a variety of project management disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and how regulations are applied within the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with state healthcare regulations such as MA, NV and IL.
