As a Sports Sales Intern you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the NCSA Scouting team while developing your skills in sales such as the importance of developing rapport, figuring out customers needs, establishing the "why" in the customer need and the art of the perfect close. The NCSA Scouting department's main responsibility is to help all qualified student athletes find the perfect customized NCSA membership that will assist them in realizing their dream of playing college sports. Scouts are critical to the NCSA vision of building the world's first athleadership network.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Contact recruits on a daily basis
  • Work with the Partner Program department in event logistics with funneling recruits to NCSA
  • Digital & phone marketing efforts
  • Complete the NCSA Sales training program
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with preferred majors (but not exclusive to) in Marketing, Sports Management
  • Exceptional verbal skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization of leads
  • Must be comfortable with being on the phone and to communicate with different types of people
  • Previous phone experience preferred
  • Desire to grow, to be challenged and coached
