The Receptionist greets all visitors and handles all incoming phone calls into the main switchboard. This position is a part-time, temporary position.

Primary Responsibilities:
Cheerfully answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of call, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department

Greets visitors with a friendly greeting and smile

Retrieves messages from voice mail and fax machine and forwards to appropriate personnel

Provides job applications to interviewees

Provides timely administrative support to HR including but not limited to:

Updates EpiCenter

Creates new hire labels

Assembles new hire guides

Supply orders

Records no thank you letters in PeopleClick

Assigns recruiter to referrals

Distributes vehicle parking stickers

Assists HR with employee services (discount, local attraction tickets)

Replaces lost or damaged security cards

Distributes service awards

Other duties as assigned


High school diploma or equivalent

Microsoft Requirements:
Excel: > 1 year required

Outlook: > 1 year required

SharePoint: > 1 year required

Word: >1 year required

Preferred Qualifications:
Friendly, helpful and calm disposition

Ability to multi-task and prioritize incoming calls vs. visitors

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent phone etiquette

History of exceptional attendance and punctuality

Flexible schedule - receptionist covers reception vacation and sick calls

Positive attitude & team player
