The purpose of this position is to provide transactional price support to the Parts Sales and Marketing organization with regards to processing, monitoring, and reporting on all parts concession, promotion orders and market basket pricing for fleets.

Core Responsibilities
  • Receive, analyse, and process in a timely manner all concession requests from District Parts Managers, and parts promotions from Parts Product Managers
  • Verify order accuracy by monitoring concession and promotion database against current program structure
  • Provide management updates on concession and promotion sales volumes against defined targets
  • Perform prompt resolution on concession or promotion claims requests
  • Provide written communications to dealership Parts Managers and Company District Parts Managers concession summary reports
  • Calculate extended distribution (Affiliate Dealer, Associate Dealer) rebates as defined per program guidelines. Provide credit information to the Billing Department for processing
  • Manage Service Dealer Price Override program ensuring dealers are complying with terms and conditions and provide approval for rebates
  • Monitor vendor fund contribution commitments, and apply to parts gross margin results.
  • Provide price quote assistance on National Account bid activity

Critical Competencies
  • Basic business and accounting principles
  • Thorough understanding of price and margin calculations
  • Understanding of Volvo parts sales programs and systems
  • Knowledge of parts sales distribution network and transaction processes
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or equivalent 3-4 years experience in Parts Finance, Marketing, or Sales Administration
  • Strong PC skills, especially with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with report writing tools
  • Oracle Discoverer a plus
