Under limited supervision, the Administrative Coordinator II, manages the administrative activities of Education Services Division. Reporting directly to the Accounting Fiscal Manager I, works collaboratively with all senior managers in the Education Division on budget development, personnel administration, policy development and special projects. Plans, coordinates and/ or performs complex administrative and business management activities of the Educational Services Division. Performs or supervises the performance of activities related to fiscal management, personnel management, grants management, procurement, supply services, auxiliary services, etc. Ensures compliance with State and Federal laws, Department procedures, and Department of Education guidelines. Develops and monitors compliance with annual budgets, consults with program personnel regarding the availability of funds and the preparation of funding requests. Responsible for the audit of fixed assets of the school district. Performs the activities of the State Department of Education’s reporting. Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services. Also requires knowledge of educational revenue sources; funding mechanisms; expenditure guidelines and other school –related tasks; grants management; agency policies; procedures; rules; regulations and program services; knowledge of federal and state laws, policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to the specific administrative/management function, governmental fiscal and personnel procedures, practices and policies; knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment; ability to coordinate diverse administrative/management functions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of subordinate personnel; and the ability to communicate effectively.
