Established building products company is looking for a Process Engineer out of their plant near
Roanoke, VA.
You will be responsible for the manufacturing process. Facilitate continuous process improvements. Implement new processes for new part introduction or increased sales. Improves quality, reduces material waste, increases output and decrease downtime to improve profitability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology/Engineering or related discipline
AutoCAD or Inventor preferred
3+ years experience in process/manufacturing engineering.
Experience or technical knowledge in cementitious, fenestration, extrusion, wood, etc.
Quality and safety minded.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Local candidates preferred but will relo candidates in surrounding states (from regional area).
