Background in high-speed photo capture required using the latest digital high-speed cameras on the market (Phantom cameras etc..).

Under moderate supervision, provides operational support for High-Speed Photo projects including design, installation, lighting requirements, software setup, and operation of systems. Serves as the customer interface for technical, operational, and administrative information and for resolving technical issues. Develops technical documentation and procedures for installation, maintenance, operation, and fault diagnosis of the camera system. Assists with the planning, scheduling, implementation, and monitoring of work done on projects. Helps research projects to improve capabilities using the latest electronics and/or photo equipment. Prepares and presents project recommendations to customer.

Inspects, accpeptance tests on new photo equipment and integrate into systems to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, and quality standards.

All other duties as assigned.

Must qualify for DOD Secret clearance within 1 year (Contract requirement)

Experience and Education:
BA/BS degree in a Photo/Optics field (technical or engineering field)

Or an AS degree in Engineering Technology, or military technical training program, or completion of technical institute program with at least 6 years of related experience in High-Speed Photo operations. In lieu of degree, at least 8 years of directly related experience.

Understanding in network terminology and expereince in CAT 5/6 cabling & terminations

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to innovate solutions from available resources.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers in the resolution of problems.

Exisitng skills in leading data acquisition projects at remote locations
