Sr. Software Integration Engineer
Intel Media is currently looking for experienced software architects and engineers to design and architect the core interfaces which will provide the bridge between all 3rd party systems and our next-generation video platform. This will also include designing and architecting our cloud-based Management and Monitoring application as well as working with product management to help select and integrate with appropriate 3rd party systems.
This is an exciting position on an exciting product team and will allow the successful candidate to apply their extensive experience of integrating OSS/BSS systems into architecting the external interfaces into our core platform. These systems will include (but not be limited to) Billing, CRM, Network Management and Monitoring, EAS and Blackout management
Minimum Educational Requirement:
BS + 9 yrs. exp.; Preferred would be a MS + 6 yrs. exp.; PhD + 4 yrs. exp. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
8 years experience in Operating Support System (OSS) and/or Business Support System (BSS) Integration.
8 years experience in Software Architecture and Development.
Able to translate requirements into detailed architecture and high level design specifications.
Familiarity with SOA design principles and web services.
Experience developing in Java or Scala.
Experience with relational or non SQL databases.
Experience integrating into IPTV systems.
Experience and general understanding of video encoding/decoding, encryption, transport and adaptive technologies.
Successful track record for architecting systems for Cloud deployment (preferably with AWS).
