Product Regulatory Coordinator

This position provides regulatory determination and ensures compliance with multiple regulatory agencies and laws including, FDA, TSCA, EPA. Position will support Packaging Coatings as well as Specialty Finishes. Primary focus is US regulations but this position will be involved in regulatory determinations for Europe as well. This position will work cross functionally and will need to influence members to provide information on a timely basis. Evaluate and maintain full resource information for AkzoNobel Packaging Coatings (ANPG) products and raw materials from which to evaluate product safety and regulatory compliance. Assist in evaluation and management of raw material information in ANPG Product Vision system. Serve as a resource for acquisition, follow-up, and documentation of raw material data from raw material suppliers. Draft certifications on the regulatory compliance of ANPG products as needed to support the business. Analyze current processes and implement improvements using automation, process flow, quality data structure. Especially for storage of resource information and regulatory certification information. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Assist in the preparation of TSCA Section 5 Notices (Bona Fide, PMNs, NOCs) and assist with ensuring TSCA Section 12 and 13 compliance. Participate in the development and compliance of ANPG MSDS and Labels in future system environments. Two years of experience working with regulatory information and databases. General understanding of chemicals. Concern for impact, detail oriented, ability to identify areas Requires strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills in a global and team environment.
