TASC is seeking an Information Systems Application/Software Developer (Linux) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA., where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will join a high achieving team, designing and building solutions of significant importance. The Information Systems Application/Software Developer creates, maintains, and develops application and system development plans based on customer requirements. The developer creates the application/system using the Sponsor's standard tools and processes. The developer will, in most cases, create the application/system, test, document, deliver and support the application/system.
In particular, experience in the following technology areas are desired:
--Scripting tools (i.e., Bash, Perl);
--Database experience (i.e., MySQL);
--Linux skills (Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu);
--Client/Server & communications;
--Virtualization (i.e., VMWare);
--Knowledge of system security is a plus.
Required:
--Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
--5+ years of experience is required
--A current TS/SCI with polygraph
