The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General seeks a Financial Investigator to assist in investigations of financial fraud by providers enrolled in the State Medicaid program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly committed team of professionals and an office whose mission is dedicated to serving and advocating for the people of Minnesota.

Job Duties:

Financial investigators analyze health claim and financial data, interview witnesses, gather and review evidence, and help put together cases that protect the financial integrity of the Medicaid program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants who wish to be considered for this position must have a four year college degree (with an emphasis in business, accounting, health care, finance or related areas preferred), strong oral and written communication skills, excellent judgment and character, outstanding analytical and research skills, and a professional deportment. Past employment that provides familiarity with health care billing, financial analyses, medical records analysis, insurance claims analysis, investigations or similar topics is preferred.
