We are currently looking for Room Attendants for our new hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate understands how their behind the scenes work impacts the guest. A Room Attendant is thoughtful and detailed in their service. They understand how their contributions make the guest feel included and at home. Normally considered a behind-the-scenes contributor the Room Attendant position is one that is out-in-front at this property. Our hotel is alive with color, sights and sounds. This person must possess the energy to match and display a “can do” attitude at all times.

This hotel is the first Joie de Vivre property outside of California and opened in October 2011! Located in Oldtown Scottsdale, the hotel mixes the best of southwest hospitality with cool colorful resort style. With over 190 rooms, meeting space, two pools, a state of the art fitness center and food and beverage outlets coupled with the perfect location this property is sure to be a jewel in the southwest.


Joie de Vivre is a boutique hotelier based in San Francisco that is in the midst of an ambitious national expansion program. Ability to do manual labor eight hours a day; lift, pull, push, carry items of significant weight.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (read and speak) with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends, holidays, evenings and mornings.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public in a courteous, patient and diplomatic environment.
