Harden Healthcare Services is currently hiring a Business Solutions Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas!! (Local candidates only, Austin and surrounding areas)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Planning: Participate in planning sessions with business units and customers to improve business processes through the use of current and future Business Intelligence solutions.
Functional Liaison: Serve as functional liaison between the customer and IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Also act as a liaison between consultants and internal resources to produce and deliver applications.
Requirements: Understand technical design specifications with the ability to analyze and document business requirements and processes. Works with business customers to gather requirements and to determine, analyze, and drive consensus on application functionality and requirements
Upgrades: Assists in the deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes. Participates on design teams and in design walk-through.
Testing: Lead testing efforts by creating and following test plans and monitoring testing of system enhancements, modifications, application fixes and new releases.
Training: Develops and provides training to customers on basic features of application/product usage via various methods.
Documentation: Develops user guides and training documentation for BI systems.
Issue Resolution: Respond to support requests. Diagnoses escalated customer problems and documents problem status and resolution. Escalates issues when necessary. Performs root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems.
Reporting: Develop reporting solutions to leverage the data warehouse.
Standards: Follow organizational standards for full life-cycle implementations or upgrades. Understand project standards and change management methodology and apply them consistently. Assist in enforcement of project deliverables and deadlines.
Prioritize: Handle multiple tasks effectively and work in a fast paced team driven environment and ensure prioritization of activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : None
At least 5 years experience as a Business Solutions Analyst in a Business Intelligence environment
At least 5 years experience in functional testing
At least 5 years experience in Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodology
Knowledge of ERP technologies
Knowledge of Master Data Management
Experience in SQL Query and reporting tools preferred.
Experience in healthcare industry software and/or support preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and present a professional image at all times.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional preferred.
