Responsibilities :
The .NET/SharePoint Developer will develop, test, and deploy operational and support applications for our government client. They will work under the direction and supervision of the technical team lead and will develop applications and modules per documented requirements. They will migrate existing applications (primarily built using ASP.net) to the SharePoint platform. In addition, the role will involve the development of new solutions using .NET and/or SharePoint technologies. An ability to translate business requirements into solutions is a must.
The candidate chosen for this position must be detail-oriented, flexible, and organized. They must also be self-directed and motivated; have an ability to learn and a desire to succeed. The Developer must be able to work independently or as part of a team. An understanding of formal software development methodologies and demonstrated ability to plan and execute work and to deliver projects on time is essential to the success of this role. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are highly desired The successful candidate will be equally adept at working as part of a development team and individually, depending upon the assignment. Qualifications :
Required Skills
6 years of IT development experience in .NET and/or SharePoint
Must have experience in ASP.net, .NET web application development - enterprise-scale internet and intranet web-based applications using Active Directory and Single Sign-On, SharePoint 2007, use of SharePoint designer
Desired Skills
Experience in SharePoint 2010, InfoPath, SQL, case management and AINS eCase experience is desired
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field
