In this vital sales position you will be responsible for increasing the Wall Street Journal and Barron's circulation and revenue both print and online among colleges in this territory. Responsibilities will include presenting student and faculty presentations to demonstrate their products and benefits analyzing your market for sales potential and cultivating new opportunities to close/won status. Monitoring competitor's activities and recommending sales strategies is also essential to the role. Extensive travel is required. Qualified candidates will cover a territory in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout this territory visiting the assigned colleges and universities. Reliable transportation is required and flight travel may be required occasionally. The ideal candidate will be located in the DC or Baltimore MD areas.

? BA/BS degree with 3 or more years of outside sales experience is required.
? Presentations and territory management experience is necessary.
? Must possess excellent written and oral skills; strong organizational, analytical and planning skills are beneficial.
? PC proficiency required with CRM ( preferred system experience is a plus.
