Job Description

Dematic Corporation has an immediate opening for a Facilities Support 2 at our customer facility located in Pataskala, OH. This position will be responsible for the following duties:

Running the floor scrubber

Changing batteries on the lift trucks

Removing trash from the building

Running the bailers for cardboard and removing bails

Assisting maintenance techs

General cleaning

Job Family Responsibilities:
May participate in facilities and equipment repairs with outside contractors. May support facility inspections. May participate in the monitoring and scheduling of semi-complex facility-related activities, and service/request calls. May Participate in other activities such as sorting and delivering mail, waste paper recycling, operating office equipment (including equipment set-up, operation, routine maintenance), inter-office transportation, stocking of coffee areas, answering phone, greeting and assisting visitors (and arrange for escort, as necessary), responding to general office inquiries via telephone or in person May support in administering semi-complex procedures and systems for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguard of company facilities. May participate semi-complex loss control investigations, and preparing semi-complex accident reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs semi-complex work within area of specialization. Interprets documented rules, past practices, or instruction on a semi-independent level. Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.

Typically, HS diploma or equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.

Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates basic knowledge of a specialty area. Typically, 2-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Key Working Relationships:
Primarily intra-organizational contacts and limited external contacts.
