We are a PHP, MySQL and MongoDB shop with a fantastic engineering team that has built a CMS, Analytics, and Event tracking platform that allows brands to promote themselves on many of the top social websites. Every engineer on the team plays a key role in defining, building, and maintaining the Buddy Media platform.
We are looking for talented engineers with a solid software engineering background. Successful engineers are fast learners of new technologies, passionate about web development, and can deliver within deadlines.
Necessary Skills:
⢠Expert knowledge of the full LAMP stack
⢠Extensive programming experience with PHP5
⢠Solid understanding of OOP
⢠Comfortable dealing with large sets of data
⢠Working knowledge of Source Code Version Control (Git, SVN)
⢠Working knowledge of MVC design pattern
⢠Working knowledge of PHP5 web frameworks including Kohana, Cake, Zend
⢠Working knowledge of RDBMS
⢠3+ years professional development experience
⢠Great attention to detail
⢠Can implement elegant and robust solutions while adhering to coding standard
⢠BS or MS in Computer Science
Bonus Skills:
⢠Working knowledge of FBJS and the Facebook development platform
⢠Plug-in development for any extensible web application such as WordPress, Drupal, or MovableType
